The Hoppegarten racecourse hosted twelve different races around the 131st Berlin Grand Prix on Sunday, 8 August 2021. This time, 8,500 spectators were allowed to be there. The sporting highlight (Group I, 155,000 euros, 2,400 metres) was secured by Alpinista under jockey Luke Morris (from Newmarket in England and trained by Sir Mark Prescott) in a gripping race.
In the highlight of the Berlin racing season, the winners relegated the favourite and defending champion Torquator Tasso under Rene Piechulek and co-favourite Walton Street under James Doyle to second and third place.
