Historisches Bild und Foto: Bauarbeiter, Kinderarbeit, Kinder, Jugendliche, Tagelöhner beim Bau, Umbau der Stalinallee im Jahr 1953 nach den Visionen des Sozialistischen Realismus bzw. der Nationalen Bautradition. VEB Industriebau. Errichtung der Arbeiterpalaeste. Die Strasse, Boulevard wurde zwischen 1949 und 1961 Stalinallee (Große Frankfurter Straße) genannt und war das Vorzeigeprojekt im Rahmen des Ostdeutschen Wiederaufbauprogamms nach dem zweiten Weltkrieg. Die Stalinallee wurde in mehreren Stufen von den Architekten Hermann Henselmann, Hartmann, Hopp, Leucht, Paulick entwickelt. Platziert wurden Appartements, Aafes und ein Kino (International). Der aktuelle Name: Frankfuter Allee, Karl Marx Allee. Hier zu sehen: Karl-Marx-Allee / Ecke Bersarinstrasse (heute Petersburger Straße - andere Straßenseite Warschauer Straße) | Historical Image and Photography: Building worker at Building the Stalinallee in East Berlin. Workers build up the street and the buildings. The boulevard was named Stalinallee between 1949 and 1961 (previously Große Frankfurter Straße), and was a flagship building project of East Germany's reconstruction programme after World War two. It was designed by the architects Hermann Henselmann, Hartmann, Hopp, Leucht, Paulick and Souradny to contain spacious and luxurious apartments for plain workers, as well as shops, restaurants, cafés, a tourist hotel and an enormous cinema (the International). The name today: Karl Marx Allee.
