The 2022 UCI Track Cycling Nations’ Cup is a series of three track cycling competitions organised by the Union Cycliste Internationale. Here are photos from the competitions held from 21 to 24 April at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome in Glasgow in the United Kingdom.
The following competitions took place in the women’s and men’s events: Sprint, Keirin, Team Sprint, 500-metre Time Trial, Single Pursuit, Team Pursuit, Elimination, Omnium, Two-Man Team, 1000-metre Time Trial.
21 April Day 1 UCI Track Cycling Nations Cup Glasgow 2022 results:
- Women’s team sprint: Victory went to the Netherlands with Kyra Lamberink, Steffie van der Peet, Hetty van der Wouw, Laurine van Riessen.
- Women’s team pursuit: Winners were Germany with Franziska Brauße, Lisa Klein, Mieke Kröger, Laura Süßemilch
- Men’s team sprint: Winning team was Australia with Thomas Cornish, Leigh Hoffman, Matthew Richardson
- Men’s team pursuit: Victory went to France with Benjamin Thomas, Thomas Denis, Corentin Ermenault, Eddy le Huitouze.
22 April Day 2 UCI Track Cycling Nations Cup Glasgow 2022 results:
- Men’s Individual Pursuit: The winner was ERMENAULT Corentin (France) ahead of HEINRICH Nicolas (Germany), TANFIELD Charlie (Great Britain), BUCK-GRAMCKO Tobias (Germany)
- Men’s 1Km Time Trial: ORTEGA FONTALVO Cristian David (Colombia) won ahead of LANDERNEAU Melvin (France) and MARTINEZ CHORRO Alejandro (Spain).
- Women’s Sprint: The winner was MITCHELL Kelsey (Canada) ahead of VAN RIESSEN Laurine (Netherlands), STARIKOVA Olena (Ukraine) and BAYONA PINEDA (Colombia).
- Women’s Elimination Race: The winner was KAJIHARA Yumi (Japan) ahead of FORTIN Valentine (France), WOLLASTON Ally (New Zealand)
- Men’s Elimination Race: The winner was VIVIANI Elia (Italy) ahead of HAVIK Yoeri (Netherlands) and TEUTENBERG Tim Torn (Germany).
23 April Day 3 UCI Track Cycling Nations Cup Glasgow 2022 results:
- Women’s 500m Time Trial: BAYONA PINEDA Martha (Colombia) won ahead of VECE Miriam (Italy) and LAMBERINK Kyra (Netherlands).
- Women’s Individual Pursuit: KRÖGER Mieke (Germany) won ahead of BRAUßE Franziska (Germany) and MORRIS Anna (Wales) and KNIGHT Josie (Great Britain).
- Men’s Madison: France was victorious with 66 points, followed by Japan with 63 points and Italy with 49 points..
- Men’s Keirin: The winner was LAVREYSEN Harrie (Netherlands) ahead of QUINTERO CHAVARRO Kevin Santiago (Colombia) and RICHARDSON Matthew (Australia).
- Omnium Women: The winner was KAJIHARA Yumi (Japan) ahead of van der DUIN Maike (Netherlands) and KOPECKY Lotte (Belgium).
24 April Day 4 UCI Track Cycling Nations Cup Glasgow 2022 results:
- Women’s Madison: France was victorious with 33 points, ahead of Italy with 23 points and Denmark with 18 points.
- Women’s Keirin: GROS Mathilde (France) won ahead of BAYONA PINEDA Martha (Colombia) and GENEST Lauriane (Canada).
- Men’s Sprint: LAVREYSEN Harrie (Netherlands) won ahead of RICHARDSON Matthew (Australia) and VIGIER Sébastien (France) and PAUL Nicholas (Trinidad Tobago).
- Men’s Omnium: The winner was WOOD Oliver (Great Britain) ahead of MORA VEDRI Sebastian (Spain) and van den BOSSCHE Fabio (Belgium).
