LOTTO Thüringen Ladies Tour 2023

The traditional cycling race the International Tour of Thuringia for Women (since 2017 officially called the International LOTTO Thuringia Ladies Tour) takes place annually in eastern Thuringia. The Tour is classified in the highest UCI category and is so far the only professional stage race for women in Germany. In 2023, the LOTTO Thuringia Ladies Tour took place as usual at the end of May over six stages between 23 May and 28 May. Six stages – 651 kilometres – 17 teams from eight nations. After the quiet start in Schleiz, Gera, Schmölln, Gotha and Schmalkalden will follow. Destination will be Mühlhausen.

1st stage (23 May 2022) – around Schleiz: The team time trial over 9.1 kilometres was won by Team SD Worx with Lotte KOPECKY, Mischa BREDEWOLD, Lorena WIEBES, Barbara Guarischi and Lonneke Uneken ahead of Team Jayco AlUla and Canyon//SRAM Racing.

2st stage (24 May 2022) – around Gera: The road race “around Gera” over 153,5 kilometres was won by BREDEWOLD Mischa ( NED ) – TEAM SD WORX ( SDW ) ahead of GUARISCHI Barbara and WIEBES Lorena

3st stage (25 May 2022) – around Schmölln: The road race “around Schmölln” over 94.6 kilometres was won by GUARISCHI Barbara Team SD Worx ahead of WIEBES Lorena Team SD Worx and ALONSO Sandra CERATIZIT-WNT Pro Cycling
