The German Elite Road Cycling Championships 2021 took place on June 19 and 20, 2021 in Stuttgart and the surrounding region. The road race of the German Road Cycling Championships started in Filderstadt-Bernhausen on June 20, 2021. From there it went to the circuit to Stuttgart-Degerloch, where the and the men completed 25 laps (185.3 km). In each lap, 122 meters of altitude had to be covered. Out of 198 starters, 48 riders crossed the finish line.
Winner of the road race was Maximilian Schachmann, who won his second German championship title in the road race after 2019. Second place went to Jonas Koch and third place went to Georg Zimmermann.
