The 121st running of Paris–Roubaix took place on April 7, 2024 and was part of the 2024 UCI WorldTour. Dutch world champion Mathieu van der Poel of Team Alpecin-Deceuninck secured the victory after an impressive solo attack 59.7 kilometers before the finish in the Orchies sector. He reached the Vélodrome André Pétrieux with a lead of three minutes over his teammate Jasper Philipsen, who beat Mads Pedersen and Nils Politt in the sprint for second place. Van der Poel set a new record with an average speed of 47.85 km/h and successfully defended his title as the first rider since Tom Boonen in 2009. He also became the first rider since Fabian Cancellara in 2013 to win both the Tour of Flanders and Paris–Roubaix in the same year.
