Tour de Suisse 2024

The Tour de Suisse 2024 was the 87th edition of this Swiss stage race and took place from June 9 to 16. It comprised eight stages with a total distance of 839.2 kilometers and was part of the UCI WorldTour 2024. The tour began with an individual time trial in Vaduz, Liechtenstein, and included several hilly stages and four mountain arrivals, including the Gotthard Pass, Carì and Blatten. The final stage was a 15.7-kilometer mountain time trial from Aigle to Villars-sur-Ollon.

The Briton Adam Yates of the UAE Team Emirates secured overall victory with a lead of 22 seconds over his teammate João Almeida. Yates also won the points and mountain classifications. The Dane Mattias Skjelmose Jensen of the Lidl-Trek team came in third overall and won the young rider classification. The team classification went to the UAE Team Emirates. In honor of Gino Mäder, who passed away last year, the “#rideforgino mountain prize” was awarded for the first time at the highest point of the tour. A total of 168 riders from 27 nations in 24 teams took part in the tour, of whom 144 reached the finish.
