On 20 April 2025, Hoppegarten racecourse opened its 157th season in glorious sunshine. Around 12,700 visitors flocked to the historic site just outside Berlin to watch three high-calibre Listed races, among others. Trainer Henk Grewe and jockey Thore Hammer-Hansen dominated the day with victories in all three classes:
- Preis von Dahlwitz (2,000 m): The four-year-old stallion Wilko from the Helena stable won under Thore Hammer-Hansen.
- Altano-Rennen (2,800 m): Flatten the Curve, also trained by Henk Grewe, won with Hammer-Hansen in the saddle.
- Hoppegarten Mares’ Mile (1,600 m): The five-year-old mare Daydream Express, owned by Stefan Hahne, prevailed under Hammer-Hansen.
