On 16 July 2023, the Women’s Cycling Grand Prix took place for the first time. This UCI professional one-day race for women attracted an international field of 120 riders. The challenging course offered a varied and exciting race. The start was in the Stuttgart region (Tamm), while the finish was in Stuttgart. The approximately 105-kilometre course led through the districts of Ludwigsburg and Böblingen and presented the female riders with numerous challenges.
The winner after 104 kilometres was the Italian Elena PIRRONE from Team Israel Premier Tech Roland after 2:39:47 hours. The Austrian Kathrin SCHWEINBERGER from Team CERATIZIT-WNT Pro Cycling came in second. Linda RIEDMANN came in third place.
